Starting between 1600-1630 and working approx a 10 hr shift
Mon - Fri, but will rotate every other Sun.
Some Sat work also available ( if working Sat the dvr will have a different day off during the week)
POSITION DETAILS
BASIC YARD DUTIES:
SOME OF WHICH ARE LISTED BELOW.
Moving loaded and empty trailers to and from the warehouse dock doors to specific yard locations, using an electronic tablet assigning and completing move
Shuttling Outside carrier empty trailers or trailers to and from our offsite locations-3 yards:
Offsite 1, Offsite 2, Offsite 3 with an Ottawa or a day cab if needed.
Chocking every trailer that goes into a dock door in-front of the tire and watching other carriers chock their trailer when they are going right to a dock door.
Checking for trailer damage and broken tandems and reporting it in the tablet or to Management.
