Transportation Coordinator (Tue Friday 1p 9p Saturday 8a 4p)

We are currently seeking a
Transportation Coordinator
. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Serve as a liaison to third party carriers to schedule loads, deliveries and monitor service levels.
- Work with internal and third party warehouse teams to make sure orders are being shipped to deliver to the customer on time.
- Work with customer service and the third party carrier base at all levels to meet and coordinate customer requests.
- Coordinate the sourcing of orders internally & externally to and from the region to meet customer demands and optimize line loading opportunities.
- Coordinate with customers, Customer Service, Planning and the Warehouse teams to ensure trucks are picking up at the right locations.
- Run, review and update reports in SAP and i2 to effectively manage flow of orders and customer issues
- Build and maintain professional and collaborative relationships with internal and external business partners and provide accurate and timely responses to inquiries
- Ensure compliance with all related internal and external compliance, safety and quality regulations
Key qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Business preferred
- Three or more years of experience within a fast-paced Logistics or Supply Chain environment preferred
- Past experience with load planning, logistics, dispatching or operations
- Prior experience in the food & beverage industry and/or servicing large customer accounts desired
- Proficient with computers and windows based software required, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Experience with SAP and i2 preferred
- Ability to handle multiple people and tasks in a fast paced environment
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, organizational and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and in group environment
- Customer focused attitude in a dynamic environment
- Flexibility in hours worked, including nights, after hours, weekends and holidays
