7 Full-time 4 hours ago Full Job Description We are currently hiring a Brewing Lead in Breinigsville, PA.
Under general supervision of the Brewing Supervisors, the Brewing Lead keeps the brewing process on track focusing on safety, teamwork, process quality, and equipment troubleshooting.
Leads by example, maintaining a positive can-do attitude while prioritizing and organizing work in the brewhouse and on the cellar floor.
Champions all department initiatives as they pertain to safety, team communication, beer quality, sanitation, scheduling, R&D, and ongoing process improvement.
Is the go-to person on the floor for brewer questions, optimizing shift staffing, automation troubleshooting, act as the point of contact for Brewing Supervisors, and coordinate with other departments.
What You'll Brew:
Lead the Brewing Operators in performing the required tasks to ensure product quality, follow production schedules and maintain proper sanitation following brewing procedures These responsibilities include; leading the Brew house, Fermenting, Filtration, CMB/Cider, Blending and package release processes and operations Involves recording and analyzing process data, troubleshooting problems and exceptions, temperature and flow monitoring, communication and coordination with projects and other departments, ensuring proper CIP procedures and schedules and overseeing GMP sanitation activities May be required to perform the tasks of a Brewing Operator as needed Participate and/or lead continuous improvement efforts focused on improving the brewing operations Assist other operators and departments in training, repair work and equipment operation as needed Clean and perform work in a confined space areas such as tanks and vessels Computer literate, must read and operate computers and automated equipment and input data as required Brewer Lead must read and apply email communication daily and be able perform basic functions in excel spreadsheets Perform Quality checks, testing, and complete paperwork as required Recommends improvements and desirable modifications to our processes and equipment focused at reducing loss, improving efficiency, and enhancing quality Must be willing to help test and implement these improvements Must wear respirators, and all safety and sanitation equipment as required and follow all GMP guidelines What Ingredients You'll Bring:

year experience in SAPB Brewing or comparable.
Must be able to demonstrate technical understanding of brewing process Strong communication, interpersonal, and teambuilding skills Must be willing and able to assist other operators and departments in training, repair work and equipment operation as needed Proficient with Computer systems including MS Outlook and Excel.
Must be able to learn and accurately utilize brewery operation control systems Ability to endure on a daily basis, excessive walking, standing, kneeling, crouching, lifting (excess of 60lbs), twisting, climbing, reaching Must be available to support 12 hour shift, weekend and holiday schedules as required Some Perks:
